 Join us as we return to where it all began - Run FORE Cancer at the beautiful Silverado Golf Course.

Who do you run FORE?



Proceeds from the event benefit the University of Arizona Cancer Center. In the past eleven years of the event we are excited to have donated over $385,000 to support cancer research and treatment!! 

Who Do You Run Fore?

We will again take to the cart paths of the beautiful Silverado Golf Club, starting and ending at the Club House. This event will feature three distances - run the Front 9/5K, the Full 18/8K, or the 1 Mile Survivor Walk.

The event started as a tribute run held in memory of Kathy Maxwell who lost her battle to sarcoma cancer on December 14, 2012.  Now in our 12th year we have raised over $385K for cancer research and treatment and it has grown into more than just a tribute to Kathy. It is now a tribute for so many others who run in memory of someone they lost.  Please consider joining us this year and running in memory of someone you lost or run to raise money for an amazing organization that is helping so many fight their own battles.

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Check In and Registration will be available beginning at 6:00am at Silverado Golf Club.

    • We accept cash, check, and credit card on race day.  Race day prices are $50 for the 8K, $45 for the 5K, and $30 for the 1 Mile.

    • All shirts sizes may not be available on race day (please register online before race day to guarantee your shirt size choice).

  • Wheelchair and stroller friendly event.  NO PETS ALLLOWED ON THE GOLF COURSE OR IN THE EVENT AREA.

  • The course will take you along the cart paths around the Silverado Golf Club. Please note - some of the areas of the course will be open to public running/walking so please be good neighbors of the trail.

  • Sept. 21st 7:25AM - 1 Mile Run/Walk Begins
